Mexico extradited one of the most famous drug lords Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman to the U.S., where he was accused of drug trafficking and   murder, Mexican authorities noted.

According to Reuters, the drug lord was spotted at Ciudad Juarez airport from where he was extradited to the U.S.

Two American states - California and Texas made an extradition request. Mexico agreed to extradite drug lord only after the U.S. Attorney Office promised that the death penalty will not be applied.
