Armenian soldier Gor Khudinyan, who died at the protection area of an Artsakh defense army unit located in the northern direction on Thursday, had graduated from the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Institute and left to serve in Asrtakh immediately thereafter. 

“Gor was from our yard. We knew him since his childhood. He was a very clever and modest boy. In school he dreamt of becoming a serviceman in order to defed his homeland. After leaving the school, he studied at the Military Institute and left to serve in Artsakh,” the neighbor of the late soldier, Harutyun Bazsmajyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Gor Khudinyan, 26, who was from Vanadzor, was married and had a minor. His brother left for compulsive military service a month ago.

Lyova Baroyan, Director of No 5 Vanadzor school, where the soldier used to study, recalls that as early as in the 6-7th form the boy’s love for military service had become noticeable.  “We are proud of Gor. We maintain a special album of our students who entered the Military Institute. Gor was among the first ones.”

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army serviceman Gor Khudinyan (born in 1991) was mortally wounded, on Thursday at around 12:45am.

The soldier died at the protection area of an Artsakh defense army unit located in the northern direction, but under yet unclear circumstances. 

An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident.
