The opportunity to visit Armenia with Russian internal passports will a positive impact on tourist flow from Russia to Armenia, informed the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

ATOR noted that Armenia is a popular destination for Russian tourists, and therefore the chance to visit this country with just Russian internal passports will increase the tourist flow.

But because numerous Russian tourists visit Armenia and Georgia at the same time, these tourists will still need an international passport, since Georgia does not accept Russian citizens with internal passports into the country.

The ATOR press service stressed that the large number of flights from Russia to Armenia also have a positive impact on increasing the tourist flow.
