YEREVAN. - The Armenian authorities can limit the appetites of dominating business if the latter violates competition rules.

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan stated the aforementioned in the parliament on Wednesday, responding to the question of the head of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan, who inquired about the petrol prices.

“As to the petrol, it has indeed become expensive since the beginning of the year, but on average much earlier than both globally and in neighboring Georgia. The State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition has presented clear substantiations,” Karapetyan added.
