Armenian Family Life and Cultural Center will open in Haverhill city of Massachusetts. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on April 22.

His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, will preside over the event, eagletribune.com reports.

Artistic gymnast Houry Gebeshian, who represented Armenia in Rio Olympics in 2016, will be the special guest of the event.

Massachusetts has the second largest Armenian community after California.
