Greek police found eight parcels, which may contain explosives, in the post office in Athens. As the police spokesman noted, the parcels were addressed to “officials in European countries”, DW reported quoting AFP.

According to the police, an explosive mechanisms which were found in the parcels, were similar to the one that was inside the parcel sent from Greece, which exploded in the hands of an employee of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Paris on March 16. As a result of the explosion, the woman suffered minor injuries to her hands and face.

It is supposed that the Greek militant group Conspiracy of Fire Cells was responsible for the incident.
