Currently, Polish government does now consider a possibility to switching to common European currency - the euro. This was announced by the Polish Prime Minister Beate Shildon. According to the Prime Minister, that step now would not bring benefits to the country at the moment, reports the Polish Radio.

Meanwhile, the head of the ruling party Law and Justice Jaroslaw Kaczynski announced, that the single European currency will not be introduced in Poland in the next 10-20 years, as this would deprive the country of its independent politics. According to the survey conducted in January, 61 percent of Poles believe, that joining the Eurozone would affect their financial situation.
