Officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan have detained a man whom they suspect of stealing the metal fences of a Christian cemetery in capital city Baku.
This person is previously convicted Elshan Mammadov, according to APA news agency of Azerbaijan.
Iron fences were found during the search of the suspect’s home.
Mammadov stated that he had sold some of the stolen items to scrap metal collectors.
A criminal case is opened.
