YEREVAN. – In general the actions of governments generate the need for humanitarian assistance, founder of Aurora humanitarian initiative, Flagship Pioneering CEO Noubar Afeyan said during the discussion at UWC Dilijan College.

Commenting on critical statements saying Aurora is engaged in helping other countries, while  human rights are violated in Armenia nowadays, Afeyan emphasized that human rights are about the relations of the people and the government.

“These heroes have absolutely nothing to do with governments. In my opinion, we should not confuse these two phenomena. Humanitarian ideas can be born regardless of governments,” he said.
