Japan is preparing a package of its own sanctions against North Korea in connection with the recent ballistic missile tests carried out by Pyongyang, RIA Novosti reported quoting NHK.

Japan will try to insist on introduction of new sanctions by the UN Security Council.

According to the existing sanctions against North Korea, ferry routes between the two countries is prohibited, the entry of North Korean into Japanese ports is banned,all types of import and export are prohibited. The additional sanctions will close all the loopholes for illegal import.
