Deputy of the National Assembly (NA) from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction, General Manvel Grigoryan, who is the Chairman of Yerkrapah Volunteer Union (YVU),  told the aforementioned to journalists in Sardarapat Memorial Complex on Sunday.

In his words, there can be no progress without problems: there must be problems for people to develop when finding solutions to them.

Referring to the border situation and victims, Grigoryan said: “We are defending the border and fighting against the enemy. We have been in war with our Muslim neighbors for over thousands of years. Even during the Soviet Union much more Armenians sacrificed their lives then now that we are an independent state.”

The journalists also inquired about Grigoryan’s stance on the nation-army doctrine, to which the general noted that YVU welcomes and supports the initiative.
