YEREVAN. - A large export and import company will facilitate the trade between Armenia and Iran.

Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, Suren Karayan, told the aforementioned to journalists on Wednesday, during his visit to Ice House warehouse and logistic center in Yerevan along with Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, Mojtaba Khosrotaj.

This company will help transport goods between the two countries through facilitated procedures. The producers will thus not have to spend time and efforts on customs procedures.

Apart from this, Armenia can become a platform for Iranian companies wishing to enter the EAEU market. “Thus, it is very important that transportation points are established here, which will help our Iranian partners transport goods to other countries of the Eurasian Union,” Karayan added.
