US President Donald Trump insists on comprehensive meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Hamburg, AP reported quoting US officials.

Trump wants to hold a meeting with despite the concern of some representatives of his administration. Trump is calling for media access and all the typical protocol associated with such sessions.

At the same time, many representatives of his administration consider that the US needs to maintain its distance from Russia at such a sensitive time.
