The Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership Foundation (E5P) will provide a €2mn grant and co-fund the construction of a new landfill for solid waste in Gegharkunik and Kotayk Provinces of Armenia. 

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which manages the E5P Foundation, and the Ministry of Finance of Armenia on Friday signed the respective agreement.

This €2mn grant will be included in the €2mn loan, which the EBRD is providing to Armenia.
