YEREVAN. – A march in support of members of Sasna Tsrer armed group that seized a police patrol regiment building in Yerevan started in Republic Square.
The demonstrators are chanting “We are Sasna Tsrer” and the names of the group members. Leader of Yerkir Tsirani party, vice chairman of Heritage party Armen Martirosyan and member of Founding Parliament Aleks Yenigomshyan participate in the demonstration.
The Sasna Tsrer armed group took over of a police patrol regiment building in Yerevan, took hostages, but later surrendered, in July 2016.
