Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) National Seismic Protection Service recorded a 4.2-magnitude earthquake on Thursday at 10:22am local time.
Its epicenter was in Azerbaijan, 39 kilometers southwest of Shirvan city. The hypocenter of the quake was 20km beneath the surface.
This seismic activity measured magnitude 5-6 at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Karabakh's Hadrut town where it measured magnitude 2-3.
