President of France Emmanuel Macron signed a decree to appoint Jonathan Lacote as new ambassador to Armenia.

Lacote will replace Jean-François Charpentier who has completed his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

New ambassador has previously worked as councilor at the French embassy in UK.
