An Armenian Park has opened in Malaysia’s George Town on Wednesday,

Penang Island mayor Datuk Maimunah Shariff said the 1,600 square meter park provided a place for the public to play and organise community activities, The Sun Daily reports.

She said the creation of the park, made up of a field and spruced up back lanes near Lebuh Armenian (Armenian Street) here, was part of efforts to create more green space within the city.
