One was killed and at least seven were injured as a knife-wielding man attacked customers of the shopping center in south-east of Poland, Euronews reported.

A 27-year-old attacker was detained by police. Those injured were taken to the hospital.

The man was attacking people from behind, injuring them in the back, police said in a statement.
