Turkey expects EU to provide the remaining part of 3 billion euros under migrant deal by the end of 2018, according to the text of a speech by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Thursday, Reuters reported.

The government of Turkey and the European Union agreed on the principals of the resolution of migration crisis in March 2016.

According to the agreement, after the individual valuation of risks, illegal migrants arriving to Greece must be deported to Turkey. For its readiness to accept migrants from European Union, Turkey received a confirmation about funding amounting to €3 billion, in addition to the funding already agreed by the end of 2015.
