YEREVAN. – Deputy Chairman of the Belarus parliament, co-chair of the Amrenian-Belarus Interparliamentary Commission B.Pirshtuk visited Armenian Genocide Memorial (Tsitsernakaberd) on Tuesday.

The delegation led by Pirshtuk was accompanied by Deputy Speaker of the Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov.

“Innocent people who wanted to live in their native land were killed,” said B. Pirshtuk, expressing the hope that justice will prevail.

According to the press service of the National Assembly, the guests laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence to honor the victims. They also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, viewed the exhibit and made a note in the Memory Book.
