YEREVAN. – A street in downtown Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, will soon be named after India. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Yerevan Municipality official website that this matter has been put on the forthcoming meeting of the city council.

According to the agenda, a downtown Yerevan street will be renamed to India Street.

The decision will come into force ten days after its adoption.
