YEREVAN. – “We had bought candies from the store near my home in Yerevan,” wrote the reporter of Aravot (Morning) newspaper of Armenia.

“After trying [them], since they were old and had an unpleasant taste, we started looking for the manufacturer. We did not find any notes on the first two [candy] wraps. And we deciphered the writing on the third [wrap] with a magnifying glass: Şirin OJSC, B. Buniatov Street 17a, Baku, Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijani goods in the Armenian market are nothing new. Our consumers tasted Azerbaijani apple and tea, also not long ago,” the reporter also wrote.
