Nearly 200,000 people have been told to evacuate as wildfires broke out in Southern California and have destroyed more than 184 homes, USA Today reported.

The Thomas fire, which started in Ventura is the largest. It has burned at least 90,000 acres and destroyed 150 structures.  According to the fire department, more than 1,800 firefighters have battled the fire, which is just 5% contained.

Fires are also raging in Los Angeles. They have burned nearly 13,000 acres and destroyed over 30 structures, Santa Clarita and San Bernardino.
