The man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after leaving a slice of raw bacon at the entrance to the mosque in US, the Independent reported.

Michael Wolfe from Florida pleaded guilty to vandalism with a hate crime. Wolfe smashed the windows and lights with a machete and left a slice of raw bacon by the front door in January, 2016.

Michael will remain on probation for a further 15 years after his release.
