Ankara police received a call on January 16 evening in connection with the disappearance of one of the diplomats in the Russian Embassy in Turkey.

Having no news for hours, Alex Anelkov's relatives called the police, Cumhuriyet reports.

The announcement of the disappearance of the Russian diplomat caused a great stir in the Ankara police. A large number of search groups have been set up. People who had a phone conversation with the diplomat were interrogated.

Six hours after the searches started, the police caught the diplomat's telephone signal and went to that place at once. It turned out that the diplomats’ car got stuck in the mud and he could not pull it out for hours. The phone was disconnected due to lack of charge.

The police pulled the Russian diplomat's car out of the mud and drove it to the embassy.
