YEREVAN. – An Armenian army soldier was wounded on Friday in Tavush, a region on the border with Azerbaijan.

The soldier was taken to the hospital in Berd with a gunshot wound, spokesperson for the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The serviceman is in the hospital of the defense ministry, his life is not in danger. Hovhannisyan refused to provide further details.
