Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu stated that, in February, a fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 Russian jet fighter tested prospective winged missiles in Syria, reported Russian News Agency TASS.

In his words, these missiles were tested to assess the opportunities declared “in a combat situation.”
