US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived with an unannounced visit to the Afghan capital, TASS reported referring to the Ariana TV channel.

According to the source, Pompeo arrived in Kabul to meet with the President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani.

The US Secretary of State plans to meet with some Afghan officials and discuss the support of the Afghan armed forces and American assistance to the country.
