YEREVAN. – The Armenian side is in constant contact with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) regarding detainees—in connection with Armenians who are in Azerbaijan.

Armenia’s Minister of Defense, Davit Tonoyan, stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Wednesday.

The minister noted that this is the only way to get any information about the detainees. “The ICRC representatives visit them on a regular basis,” he added.

At present, there are three Armenian detainees in Azerbaijan.
