YEREVAN.— Poland has completed the ratification process of the EU-Armenia agreement on August 26, Polish Ambassador to Armenia Pavel Cheplak told reporters after a briefing dedicated to the 24th UN Climate Change Conference in Katowice.

“I can assure you that Poland has no doubts the new Prime Minister intends to develop relations with the EU,” the ambassador said.

Asked by Armenian News- NEWS.am whether the sides registered achievements after the visit of Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski to Armenia last year, the envoy highlighted the frequency of mutual visits at the level of the Foreign Ministry and the parliaments of the two countries.

“Since the fall of last year, a good period has been registered for bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Poland,” he said, adding that they are waiting for the visit of Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian to Poland in November.

The official delegation is also expected to take part in the conference, which will be held in December in Katowice.
