About 20,000 protesters marched in Warsaw demanding higher salaries, Reuters reported.

Teachers, firefighters, rescuers, ordinary court employees, people working in the healthcare sphere, social workers took part in march demanding an immediate increase in salaries and a meeting with the Prime Minister.

"We can't live pay cheque to pay cheque ... Our families are starving," Jan Guz, head of the OPZZ trade union told protesters.
