YEREVAN. – We had an unprecedented economic activity index of 11 percent in June.
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday stated the above-said at the National Assembly of Armenia.
He noted, however, that the previous claims on the country’s economic growth indicators had been fake claims.
“We [Armenia] have dismantled our mineral resources, sold [it], [and] said ‘we have export,’” he explained. “We want to turn Armenia from an agrarian country into a high-tech exporting country.”
And as a positive economic indicator, Pashinyan stated that real estate prices are rising in Armenia, and that this is profitable for everyone who owns a home.
