German Chancellor Angela Merkel has rejected UK PM Theresa May’s offer to hold new negotiations on a Brexit agreement, reports DW.

“We said that there would be no further revision of the treaty,” dpa agency quoted the Chancellor as referring the participants of the CDU parliamentary faction’s meeting on Tuesday.

At the same time, the head of the German government expressed confidence in the possibility of reaching an agreement and avoiding unregulated Brexit. According to her, the British deputies, who opposed the signing of an agreement with the European Union in its current version, do not want their country to leave the EU without a corresponding agreement.
