Indian armed forces blocked most of Indian-administered Kashmir to prevent the anti-government protests, AP reported. 

Government forces patrol the streets of Srinagar and surrounded the roads leading to the garrison of the Indian army.

At least seven civilians were killed and over three dozen injured Saturday when government forces fired at anti-India protesters following a gunbattle that left three rebels and a soldier dead, the source added.
