"Arms and military equipment available to the Azerbaijani army are capable of destroying any military positions and objects of the enemy," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said, Interfax-Azerbaijan reported.

“The equipment and weapons available today allow us to destroy any military targets of the occupiers with a high degree of accuracy and great destructive power,” he said. “Of course, our powerful military potential is the main aspect for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict,” said Aliyev.

“Our army is capable of solving any tasks today, as the events of recent years openly testify. I can say that as a result of the successful operation of the army, 11 thousand hectares of territory in the Nakhijevan direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border passed under our full control, ”Aliyev said.

He also said that Azerbaijan will continue to increase its power. “I wanted to say that this year we signed many important contracts. As a result of the implementation of these contracts, the most modern weapons and equipment will be imported into the country, ”said Aliyev.
