Armenian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Garnik Badalyan held a meeting with Turkmenistan's Deputy Prime Minister  for Culture and Media  Bahargul Abduyeva.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed issues relating to the restoration of the dome of mausoleum of Turkmen emirs Amir Saadi in Argavand and the possible reconstruction of the mausoleum in the village of Khndzoresk, and, with the permission of the Turkmen side, the restoration of the Armenian church of 1903 in the city of Turkmenbashi.

The interlocutors noted the need to adopt a bilateral long-term cultural program. To strengthen bilateral cultural ties, the importance of resuming cultural days was noted.
