The parliamentary faction of the Prosperous Armenia Party took launched an initiative to create a standing commission on regional and Eurasian integration issues, the Prosperous Armenia MP Mikael Melkumyan noted on Thursday.

"Eurasian economic cooperation and opportunities for effective economic development of Armenia within this framework are in the interests of our people, which has always been one of the priorities of the Prosperous Armenia Party. This is evidenced by the public position of the faction in the parliaments of the 4, 5 and 6 convocations.

In this connection, in the parliament of the new convocation, we are taking the initiative to create a standing commission on regional and Eurasian integration, ” he stated.
