Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has an intention to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on January 23, Erdogan told reporters on Tuesday after speaking in parliament.

"I am highly likely to meet with Putin on Wednesday, January 23," TASS reported quoting Erdogan. 

According to him, “a trilateral meeting with [Iranian President Hassan] Rouhani and Putin is on the agenda."

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu said that a summit of Turkey, Russia and Iran on a Syrian settlement is planned to be held in the coming weeks.
