YEREVAN. – The voting for the election of the chairpersons of the eleven standing committees of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia will be held at the lobby adjacent to the NA Sessions’ Hall, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

Vahagn Hovakimyan, Chairman of the NA Committee on Counting, on Friday stated about the aforesaid at Friday’s session of the new parliament.

As reported earlier, the new legislature of Armenia will have eleven standing committees, instead of nine. Eight of these committees will be headed by the majority “My Step” Faction, the “Prosperous Armenia” Faction will head two committees, and the “Bright Armenia” Faction—one.
