Azernaijani opposition in the face of rhe National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) has appointed another protest action for March 2. The rally is expected to be held next Saturday at the stadium "Mehsul" from 15:00 to 17:00, contact.az reported.
The leader of the PFPA, Ali Kerimli, said that the slogans of the action would be the demands of previous rallies: freedom for political prisoners, return to the country, funds withdrawn from offshore, and the solution of the population"s credit debt caused by the 2015 devaluation.
On January 19, the NCDF held the most massive rally in the last 6 years.
After that, the opposition actions scheduled for January 26 and February 23 were not authorized by the authorities. The Baku city administration motivated this by "appeals from citizens and organizations" with a request not to allow rallies because of the disturbance of public order during the January 19 rally.
Immediately after the rally on January 19 the city police stated that there had been no violations of public order during the rally.
