On 12 March, Armenia’s Ministry of Education and Science hosted the session of the anniversary commission for the 150^th anniversary of Komitas chaired by the commission’s chairman and Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan.

The members of the commission discussed the program of events dedicated to the 150^th anniversary of Komitas and presented and considered several program-related and organizational issues. There will be large-scale events aimed at presenting the rich heritage of Komitas Vardapet in Armenia and in Armenian communities of the Diaspora.
