On 15 March, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, Executive Director of the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) Armen Orujyan and Vice-President of the Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy (BeKraf) Sulistianti signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology and Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy on Cooperation in the Field of Creative Industries in Jakarta.

The Memorandum of Understanding lays down the scopes of cooperation between the two institutions and expresses willingness for implementation of joint programs and projects through artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics and other exponential technology tools.

The same day, representatives of nearly 15 universities and research centers participated in a meeting/discussion with Director General of the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Patdono Suwignjo. Mr. Orujyan presented the activities of the FAST and the terms of cooperation with Indonesia. There was also a discussion on programs of mutual interest and projects for cooperation with research centers, as well as reciprocal visits of students and researchers.
