The first lady of the republic for every man in Armenia is his wife. This is how Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to the question on whether the First Lady of Armenia is the wife of the Prime Minister or the wife of the President during his March 19 press conference.

“Frankly, I don’t understand the meaning of these discussions. What kind of topic is this? The first lady of the republic for every man in Armenia is his wife, and the first man of the republic for every woman in Armenia is her husband. To all those who still haven’t found their first ladies and first men, I wish you start families and be happy,” Pashinyan said.
