YEREVAN. – Monopoly should be uprooted in Armenia, and we have achieved concrete results in this regard.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday stated the above-said at the National Assembly, as he presented the 2018 activity report of the government.

In Pashinyan’s words, the shares of the largest importers of several products have reduced in the country’s market.

He assured that the economic competition climate has improved in Armenia and an arena of activity for other companies has been opened in the country.

“[But] no redistribution of property has occurred,” Nikol Pashinyan added. “And, in this period, the government hasn’t snatched business from anyone.”
