YEREVAN. – Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan on Monday received Shomby Sharp, the United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator in Armenia.

The minister presented details on the results of his recent visit to New York City to attend the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference, the Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, Tonoyan drew attention on the Armenian national humanitarian mission in Syria, and the possible formats for coordination of activities between the UN humanitarian assistance agencies.
