Upon the decree of President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, Andranik Hovhannisyan has been appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

“Taking as a basis the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to point 2 of part 1 of Article 132 of the Constitution:

To appoint Andranik Hovhannisyan Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office and to other international organizations (residence in Geneva)”, the decree reads.
