The French cultural heritage preservation state foundation has begun donations for the restoration of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and a corresponding section, entitled “Let’s Save Notre Dame,” has appeared on the website of this organization, RIA Novosti reported.
To this end, social media users are proposed to pay from 50 to 500 euros, or any other amount of money at their own discretion.
“All donations will be fully directed to the Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris,” reads the respective statement posted on the website.
A large fire broke out at the Notre Dame Cathedral on Monday evening.
