On April 18, President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian hosted People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, great master of cinematography Artavazd Peleshyan.

President Sarkissian highly appreciated his contributions to the development of world cinema and stated that he is one of the greatest representatives of modern Armenian culture.

Touching upon Artavazd Peleshyan’s works, Armen Sarkissian said he is one of the famous documentary filmmakers of the world.

The master of documentary films presented his book “My World and the Common Theory of the Field” as a gift to the President of the Republic.

President Sarkissian wished Artavazd Peleshyan health and more achievements and expressed certainty that he would continue to entertain his fans with new and unique works.
