The head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, will hold talks in Baku with NATO's supreme commander-in-chief in Europe, Tod Wolters.

According to the Defense Ministry’s statement, talks with the military-political leadership of the republic are also scheduled.

The meeting of Valery Gerasimov with Curtis Scaparrotti, NATO's supreme allied commander, was held in Baku in December last year.

Valery Gerasimov and Tod Wolters were received by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
